THE ROOM

A Room With No Equal in Montana

Designed by Cass Gilbert and reopened in 1905, the 6th floor of The Montana Club is one of the most architecturally significant dining rooms in the American West — framed by 25 leaded stained-glass windows, anchored by a Jacobean-Tudor fireplace, and overlooking Helena from a loggia with views toward Mount Helena.

25 Stained-Glass Windows

Largest non-ecclesiastical stained-glass collection in Montana. Created by Mitchel & Halbach of Chicago. "The Progress of Civilisation in Montana."

Jacobean-Tudor Fireplace

Original architectural feature. Beaux-Arts/Renaissance Revival design. The focal point of the Banquet Hall.

The Oval Room

Classical Revival style. Original crown molding. Historically hosted intimate dinners and private gatherings.

View from the Loggia

Overlooking downtown Helena, the South Hills, and Mount Helena. The most distinctive view from any restaurant in the state.
