THE ROOM
Inspired by the great dining halls of Europe, Gilbert created a room unlike any other in the American West. Twenty-five leaded stained-glass windows illuminate the hall with changing Montana light, while a monumental Jacobean-Tudor fireplace anchors the room beneath hand-crafted architectural details that have welcomed governors, senators, ranchers, entrepreneurs, and generations of Montanans for more than a century.
